No, they don't
last as long as foliage house plants, but they do lend a splash
of color for several weeks at a time.
Our Flowering Plants,
mums are popular because they are in season all the time or
are they in season all the time because they're popular. We're
never sure of that answer.
But, we do carry
mum plants most of the year, in a nice variety of pastel colors.
Larger, fuller and fresher than the kinds you see in the supermarket,
our mums are tastefully decorated with foils and special bows.
Mums are, of course,
available through the 12 months. Here is a sampling of other
plants:
Azaleas - February
through April
Gloxinias - November through May
Cyclamen - October through March
Tulips and Hyacinths - The two weeks prior to Easter
Begonias - at various times throught the year
Kalanchoes - off and on throughout the year
Poinsettias - November 1st through the Christmas holiday.
Lilies and Hydrangeas - in the two weeks prior to Easter
